Automotive Detail Manager

Discover Kia is seeking an Automotive Detailer Manager to join our team!
As an Automotive Detailer Manager at Discover Kia , you will meticulously clean and restore the interior and exterior of vehicles to a pristine condition. This includes thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of the car’s surfaces, as well as attention to detail in restoring upholstery, carpets, and other interior components.
Hourly Wage Range: $18.80
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Report any imperfections of new vehicles to management
- Proper application of products on interior and exterior of sold vehicles
- Buffing of vehicles when required
- Preparation of new and used vehicles to ensure optimal presentation
- Parking of vehicles appropriately on the lot and in delivery areas
- Maintain workspace to ensure it is safe and clean
Requirements:
- Desire to work in a Service Department where teamwork and customer satisfaction are #1
- Experience in cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles is considered an asset but not required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract and be able to drive a manual shift
- Be hardworking, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
- Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, it is a requirement that staff must be clean-shaven. If you are unable to maintain a clean shave where the respirator seals to the face for any reason, please inform us in the form of a request for accommodation.

Marketing Specialist
Steele Auto Group is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Prince Edward Island team!
As a Marketing Specialist with Steele Auto Group, you will engage our dealerships on digital media platforms, transforming our customer experience from a great one to the best one. You will be innovative in your strategic planning and implementation, keeping up to date on the ever-changing world of digital marketing. Wage Range: $50,000 – $60,000 yearly
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop marketing strategies for projects and campaigns, including company websites and social media for GM approval.
- Manage, maintain, and monitor social media accounts, including follower interactions, messages, leads, reviews, etc.
- Manage paid digital campaigns and budgets on SEM platforms.
- Set goals, track, analyze and communicate key metrics across digital platforms.
- Ensure creative marketing materials are compliant with branding guidelines along with vision of the Steele Auto Group.
- Work closely with the General Manager’s on marketing plans for Radio, Print, social media, and Email/Text Data Base Campaigns through Dealer Management System.
- Establish, execute, and represent community partnerships/events with approval of General Managers.
- Communicate and manage relationships with Community Partners, third party vendors and Digital Service Providers IE; Kijiji, CarGurus, Autotrader, Rapid Response and others.
- Coordinate development and design of graphics for, and not limited to, Business cards, Flyers, Print Ads, etc.
- Visit dealerships as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing/digital media role.
- Relevant post-secondary education.
- Experience in SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, display advertising, content marketing, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Automotive experience would be considered an asset.
- Exemplary communication skills (oral, verbal and written).
- Bilingual in French & English is considered an asset.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Comfortable with multiple design software.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
